The Manara College of Medical Sciences held its conference on sustainable development entitled “Challenges and Opportunities for Sustainable Development in Misan: Visions and Plans for a Sustainable Future”, sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, in cooperation with the University of Misan, the Misan Health Service, the Misan Environment Directorate, the High Commission for Human Rights/MisDepartment Office of Misan, the Directorate of Youth of MaySport. On Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 9 a.m., at the conference room of the Deanship of College Building.

The opening session included a reading of any wise male and anthem followed by the reading of The blessed Surah Al-Fatihah on the spirits of Iraq’s martyrs. It was followed by a scientific session that included the beginning of a scientific debate between the quality consultant Dr. Abdulkhalek Fawzi Hammoud. Director of the Scientific Division Asst. Lect. Rasha Abdul Hussein on the visions and actions of implementing the Al-Manara College of Medical Sciences’ policies in sustainable development. It was followed by a scientific lecture session that varied between environment, health and safety, education, human rights, and modern education, and in the lectures of the session various discussions influenced the session. The session ended with various scientific recommendations, which were documented and submitted to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in service of the College and our great race.
