Al-Manara College of Medical Sciences celebrated the student, Benin Ahmed Ramadan, for her distinguished participation in the UAE. The dental student’s celebration session came as an appreciation for her efforts in her ongoing research to find an anesthetic substance extracted from wild plants. The session began with a speech by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Faraj Muhammad Abdullah, in which he valued the student’s research and praised her diligence. Then, he followed it with a speech to the student in which she thanked the Chairman of the Board of Directors for his unlimited support, the Dean of the College, the Assistant Dean, and the professors and teaching staff for their help and support. And she talked about starting patent registration procedures and starting the stage of conducting experiments on mice in the coming months. The session witnessed a prominent presence of professors from the University of Maysan who blessed this achievement, as well as a remarkable presence of various media outlets and journalists.
