Al-Manara University Strengthens Bridges of Giving with a Visit to Al-Aen Orphan Care Foundation

As part of its commitment to social responsibility and support for sustainable development goals, the Guidance and Educational Counseling Unit at the College of Science, Al-Manara University, organized a field visit to Al-Aen Orphan Care Foundation. The visit was supervised by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Wathiq Ayoub Al-Ramadhan, and attended by a distinguished group of faculty members and students from the Medical Physics Department.

The visit aimed to explore the services provided by the foundation to orphans and underprivileged groups. The foundation operates with full independence and holds both local and international recognition and privileges. It plays a pioneering role in caring for children battling cancer, providing surgical operations and comprehensive medical treatment for orphans, and establishing a fully equipped healthcare center within the “Anjum Al-Zahira” complex. These humanitarian efforts are sustained through donations and ongoing charitable contributions.

With the approval of the President of Al-Manara University and the Chairman of its Board of Directors, an agreement was reached between the foundation and the Guidance and Educational Counseling Unit to arrange regular visits of foundation representatives to the university. These visits will include meetings with students and faculty members to introduce them to the foundation’s mission and efforts. This initiative serves as a crucial step in fostering collaboration between the two institutions, reinforcing the values of cooperation, social solidarity, and community service.
