As part of monitoring the implementation of summer maintenance work for university dormitories, a delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research visited Al-Manara University on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. This visit was part of a series of field visits conducted by the Ministry to colleges and universities to assess the readiness of dormitories for receiving students for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The visit aimed to ensure the implementation of maintenance requirements, assess the suitability of the dormitories for student accommodation, and evaluate the quality of services provided from all aspects.

During the visit, the delegation met with the University’s Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Ali Obeid, and the Head of Dormitories, Dr. Abeer Mohammed Issa. They inspected the dormitory facilities and engaged in direct discussions with resident female students to hear their opinions on the quality of services and living conditions.

The committee members praised the dormitory’s infrastructure, the adherence to safety and security standards, and the availability of essential housing requirements for female students. They emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to enhance a comfortable and safe residential environment that aligns with quality and higher education standards.
