As part of efforts to enhance academic collaboration and exchange scientific and cultural expertise to achieve sustainable development in education and scientific research, Al-Manara University signed a twinning and cooperation agreement with Salahaddin University in Erbil – Kurdistan Region, on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

The agreement includes the development of joint academic programs, the exchange of scientific visits between faculty members and students, and the organization of workshops, seminars, and scientific conferences that contribute to improving academic and research performance.

The signing ceremony was attended by Al-Manara University’s Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hamed Ghafouri Hassan, and Salahaddin University’s President, Prof. Dr. Kamaran Younis Mohammed Amin. Both sides emphasized the importance of this step in supporting the educational journey and strengthening academic ties between Iraqi universities.

This agreement reflects the commitment of both universities to advancing academic and research standards through fruitful cooperation, providing new opportunities for students and faculty members to exchange knowledge and expertise in line with the latest global standards.
