Al-Manara University and Maysan Health Department signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing the partnership between the two parties in the fields of health and education. The agreement was signed by the President of Al-Manara University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Basit Mohsen Ayal, and the Head of Maysan Health Department, Dr. Ali Nima Al-Nouri.

The agreement focuses on developing teaching hospitals, exchanging expertise in the fields of clinical training and scientific research, in addition to supporting applied research. It also stipulates the involvement of doctors and health cadres in the educational process, and providing an integrated training environment for students by facilitating their training in hospitals and laboratories. The university is also committed to providing advanced training programs for students, while the Health Department is responsible for evaluating the performance of students and graduates annually, which contributes to improving the quality of education and training.

The agreement also includes cooperation in organizing scientific conferences and seminars, and developing a joint research plan aimed at supporting development projects that benefit society.
