In implementation of the university’s plan to open up to scientific and academic institutions, the university president, Prof. Dr. Abdul Basit Mohsen Ayal, visited the Northern Technical University in Mosul and met with the university president, Prof. Dr. Alia Al-Attar, and a number of deans of colleges and directors of administrative and scientific departments at the university. His Excellency was briefed on the achievements of the Northern Technical University and its scientific and research capabilities through a presentation as well as a tour of the university’s corridors. The visit also included the signing of a twinning agreement between the two universities to enhance the scientific partnership. The two parties agreed to form several committees to develop research work as well as continue communication between them. At the end of the meeting, the president of Al-Manara University expressed his thanks and appreciation for the warm welcome and the insistence of the Northern Technical University on continuing scientific and cultural exchange between the two universities. He wished the university, its presidency and its members continued progress and prosperity.
