The Director General of Maysan Health Department, Prof. Dr. Hussein Fadhel Musa, visited Al-Manara University on Sunday, October 20, 2024, to congratulate the university on the occasion of its transformation from a college to an official university. He met with the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Basit Mohsen Ayal. During the meeting, the Director of Health stressed the importance of this step in strengthening higher education in the governorate, wishing the university further progress and success. The visit also addressed the possibility of opening channels for cooperation between the two institutions, as the signing of a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing joint cooperation to serve the Maysan community was discussed. The cooperation will include various fields, including the development of the health and education sectors, which will positively reflect on the local community and support the development process in the governorate.
