In a new achievement that reflects academic and research development, Al-Manara University obtained the 19051st position out of thirty thousand universities around the world in the Spanish Webometrics classification for the year 2024. This classification is based on measuring the virtual presence of universities through their websites according to indicators including the clarity rate (50%), transparency (10%), and the strength and excellence of research (40%).

In a related context, one hundred and twenty-six Iraqi universities and colleges achieved competitive positions in the same classification this year. The results of the classification showed the competition of thirty thousand university institutions around the world,

It is worth noting that Iraq ranked first in the Arab world and seventh in the world in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2024 in terms of the number of participating universities, which reflects the continuous improvement in the academic and research performance of Iraqi universities on the global stage.
