Iraq receives international accreditation from the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME) .
The World Federation for Medical Education has granted the National Council for the Accreditation of Medical Schools in Iraq (NCAMC) full international reliance on the level of evaluation of approved programmes and standards in areas of quality for medical education.
The WFME letter states that the WFME Recognition Commission concluded its vote and agreed to recognize NCAMC for a period of up to 2034. The National Council for the Accreditation of Medical Schools in Iraq is accredited with its policies and procedures to ensure the quality of medical education.
On this blessed occasion, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naim Al-Abudi congratulates the Iraqi people and their distinguished Government and the National Council for the Accreditation of Medical Colleges and University and Health Institutions on this unprecedented historic achievement, which unequivocally demonstrates that the international accreditation achieved represents the conclusion of our sober national educational institutions, which have been achieved with confidence and responsibility.
