The fifth-stage students of the Department of Pharmacy at the Faculty of Lighthouse for Medical Sciences visited with the professors of the department the sick patients at the Oncology Center in the district of Al-Maimouna and the Shifa Center at the Chest General Hospital, and patients in the lobbies of Al-Sadr General Hospital. on 13 February 2024. The bouquets of roses, a food basket and children’s toys were given to the patients with voluntary work by the students of the department, and they painted joy and smile on the faces of the patients, elderly and children alike.

The Department expressed the importance of such activities because of their positive results in addition to their primary objective in the happiness of patients, the cultivation of the spirit of genuine citizenship and community service among students and the engagement in the work of institutions within this community.
