The Maysan Elections Office, in cooperation with Al-Manara College of Medical Sciences, held an educational symposium on the Commission’s preparations for the governorate council elections, on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, in the conference hall, with the participation of a number of college employees, professors, and students.
During the symposium, college students were urged on the importance of receiving the biometric voter card to ensure participation in the electoral process and increase voter awareness. The most important and latest preparations of the Commission were also explained, including preparing the technical and logistical matters for the polling stations.
While the Procedures and Training Division provided a detailed explanation to the attendees about the operation of the electronic counting and sorting device and how to vote through practical application on the device.
