In conjunction with World Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Within the framework of empowering women and supporting the local women’s community, Under the patronage of the Dean of Al-Manara College of Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Faraj Muhammad Abdullah, Al-Manara College of Medical Sciences held an awareness workshop on the importance of early detection of breast cancer. This is Monday, 10/22/20023.

The workshop addressed the symptoms of breast cancer and how to treat it in addition to the importance of early self-detection to reduce breast cancer. The workshop also addressed communication skills with patients, in addition to the role of health media in spreading awareness among citizens. Notably, the workshop was in coordination and cooperation with the Women’s Empowerment Department in Maysan Governorate and the Maysan Health Department, and with direct follow-up from the Women’s Empowerment Unit in the college.
