Al-Manara College of Medical Sciences participated in the first Dhi Qar International Dental Conference as part of a delegation consisting of a number of faculty and students of the college
The conference was held by the Dental Association / Dhi Qar branch under the auspices of Al Ain University and in cooperation with Miami Dental Clinics, with the participation of more than 14 lecturers from inside and outside Iraq.

The conference was attended by the President of the Iraqi Dentists Syndicate, Prof. Dr. Abu Bakr Ziyad Al-Rawi, and a number of dentists and professors of dentistry in Iraqi universities, in addition to the presence of a number of deputies from Dhi Qar Governorate.
