Opening of a new clinic in the dentistry department
The Dean of Al-Manara College of Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Faraj Mohammed Abdullah, and Associate Prof. Dr. Ali Obaid Hajri, inaugurated on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 the new clinic in the Department of Dentistry.
The new clinic includes 20 dental chairs that have been placed at the service of students of the dental department to increase the space for clinical training, This clinic is dedicated to the treatment of diseases of the gums and supporting tissues, which is supervised by Prof. Dr. Osama Ibrahim and Dr. Diaa Al-Turk.
The new clinic is located in front of the instrument sterilization room, which was also visited by the Dean and learned about the advanced sterilization mechanism used in the dentistry department, where students’ instruments are sterilized with autoclave and pouches system to ensure the safety of patients and students.
