As part of its ongoing efforts to promote awareness and a culture of safety among its staff, the University of Manara organized a theoretical and practical training workshop on civil defense procedures on Saturday, July 26, 2025. The event was held in the university’s conference hall, with the participation of several administrative staff and teaching assistants.

The workshop was conducted under the supervision of the university’s Civil Defense Division, in cooperation with the Civil Defense Directorate in Maysan Governorate. It included awareness lectures on how to respond during emergencies, along with practical field exercises aimed at developing the necessary skills for prompt and effective response in critical situations.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the university administration presented letters of appreciation to the participating personnel from the Civil Defense Directorate, as well as to the directorate itself, in recognition of their efforts in making the workshop a success and for their contribution to promoting a culture of safety on campus.
