The Center for Continuing Education Organizes a Training Course on Optimal Strategies for Implementing Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)

The Center for Continuing Education at the University of Manara organized a specialized training course entitled “Optimal Strategies for Implementing Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)”, held over two days starting from July 23, 2025, in the university’s conference hall, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Dawood Saleem.

The course aimed to develop the practical and research skills of participants from academic and professional backgrounds by providing a comprehensive theoretical and practical framework on internationally approved methods for implementing GLP principles—recognized as essential standards for ensuring the quality and credibility of research and laboratory work.

The program included a series of theoretical and practical lectures covering the fundamental concepts of Good Laboratory Practices, the main challenges and opportunities associated with their application, as well as discussions on mechanisms for ensuring quality assurance in research environments.

This course comes as part of a series of training activities regularly organized by the Center for Continuing Education in support of the university’s pursuit of academic and research excellence, and in alignment with its efforts to enhance institutional capacity and uphold the highest standards of quality and academic accreditation.
