College of Dentistry Holds Its Fifth Council Meeting for the Academic Year 2024–2025

On Saturday, June 28, 2025, the College of Dentistry at the University of Manara held its fifth council meeting for the academic year 2024–2025. The meeting was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Muhannad Jameel Najm, Dean of the College, and attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Qasim, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, along with members of the college council.

The council discussed several important academic and administrative topics, most notably:

Approval of the first-round exam results for all academic stages for the academic year 2024–2025.

Commendation of the high success rates in the subjects included in the ministerial evaluation exams compared to last year, with the Council President praising the efforts of the teaching staff in achieving this milestone.

Approval of the summer training plan for third- and fourth-year students, with an emphasis on the college’s field follow-up of training at practical application sites.

Approval of the graduation research guidelines for fifth-year students, in preparation for implementation in the upcoming academic year.

Preparation of the scientific plan for the 2025–2026 academic year, highlighting the importance of publishing in reputable scientific journals by the college faculty.

Discussion of continuing education activities and encouragement of faculty participation in its programs during the next year.

This meeting is part of the college’s ongoing efforts to enhance the educational process and strengthen the academic environment in accordance with quality standards.
