Al-Manara University Hosts a Team from the Independent High Electoral Commission to Update the Voter Register

As part of its commitment to promoting electoral participation and reinforcing democratic principles, Al-Manara University hosted a team from the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) on Monday, May 19, 2025. The visit aimed to facilitate the process of updating the voter register for university staff and students.

The IHEC delegation met with the University President and the Vice President for Scientific Affairs. During the meeting, both parties emphasized the vital role of academic institutions in supporting the electoral process by encouraging students and staff to visit updating centers and benefit from the mobile teams provided by the Commission, ensuring their active participation in the upcoming elections.

On this occasion, Al-Manara University urges all its esteemed staff and students to update their voter registration data by visiting the IHEC mobile team, which will be available at the old presidency building – Conference Hall – starting tomorrow, Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for a period of two days. Please make sure to bring your official identification documents to complete the update process.

Updating the voter register is a fundamental step toward strengthening democracy and contributing to the building of the nation’s future.
