The College of Pharmacy at Al-Manara University participated in the first and largest conference and exhibition in the field of pharmacy, held from April 18 to 20, 2025. The event brought together a distinguished group of academics and pharmaceutical professionals and was held under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Committee of Deans of Pharmacy Colleges, and the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate.

The university was represented at the event by Dr. Haitham Sajat, Dr. Mohammed Omran, and Dr. Amjad Araibi. The conference featured a variety of sessions, lectures, and a poster and research evaluation panel. Al-Manara University took part in the research segment through a pharmaceutical study presented by Dr. Mohammed Omran and Dr. Amjad Araibi, entitled:
“Comparative Quality Evaluation of Official and Non-Official Metformin and Glimepiride Tablets Available in Maysan, Iraq.”
