Al-Manara University is pleased to announce the opening of an IELTS Testing Center in collaboration with the British Consulate, marking a significant step toward expanding opportunities for its students and the wider academic community to pursue their studies abroad.

This achievement is the result of extensive efforts by the university, with direct support from the university presidency and the technical team, to ensure all technical and administrative requirements were met in accordance with the standards of the British Consulate.

The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is one of the most recognized international exams used to assess English language proficiency. It is required by many universities worldwide for academic admission and is also a key requirement for obtaining visas and pursuing postgraduate studies.

The first IELTS test at the newly established center is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19, 2025, offering a valuable opportunity for students and professionals in southern Iraq to take the exam in a fully equipped, modern environment that supports their academic and professional aspirations.
