Commercial Gulf Bank – Al-Manara University Branch Organizes Awareness Workshop on the Occasion of Arab Financial Inclusion Day
As part of the activities marking Arab Financial Inclusion Day, and under the slogan “Promoting the Inclusion of People of Determination and Vulnerable Groups in the Formal Financial System,” Commercial Gulf Bank, in collaboration with Al-Manara University, organized an awareness workshop and introductory seminar on Saturday, May 3, 2025. The event aimed to enhance financial awareness among priority segments of society and empower them to access modern banking services.
The workshop focused on the importance of integrating people of determination and vulnerable groups into the formal banking system by introducing them to digital banking services—particularly electronic wallets and e-payment methods—ensuring ease of use, security, and contributing to the advancement of financial inclusion in Iraq and the wider region.
The event was attended by representatives of civil society organizations, advocates for the rights of persons with disabilities, and bank staff. Participants received simplified and practical explanations on how to safely and efficiently use digital banking services, along with an open discussion session to address their questions and concerns.
This initiative reflects Commercial Gulf Bank’s commitment to social responsibility and its dedication to supporting national and regional efforts aimed at achieving comprehensive and equitable financial inclusion that addresses the needs of all segments of society.
