The College of Pharmacy held its fifth council meeting for the 2024–2025 academic year on the morning of Monday, April 7, 2025. The meeting was chaired by the Acting Dean and Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Atiyah, and attended by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Haitham Sajet, along with all department representatives and a student representative from the college.

During the meeting, preparations for all upcoming examinations were discussed, with particular attention given to both formative and summative assessments. The examination schedule was set in accordance with the ministerial timetable. The date for the discussion of graduation research projects for fifth-year students was also determined.

The meeting further addressed the topic of quality assurance and the programmatic accreditation initiative. New and comprehensive committees were formed to fulfill the necessary requirements. In addition, the continuation of the Scientific Committee’s work was reviewed to approve the research papers submitted by the college faculty members.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the council expressed appreciation for the efforts made to advance the academic mission of the College of Pharmacy and Al-Manara University.
