On the morning of Tuesday, February 12, 2025, the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Department of Medical Laboratories at Al-Manara University held a scientific lecture titled “Misconceptions in Health and Laboratory Practices.”

The lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Mohammed Ali Al-Yasiri, Head of the Medical Laboratory Department, under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Dr. Khalid Obeid Mohsen, and attended by a number of faculty members and students.

The lecture addressed the most common laboratory errors, highlighting their potential harm to patients, the impact on diagnosis and treatment, and ways to avoid these errors. It emphasized the importance of adhering to professional ethics and working with integrity, steering away from the widespread greed that has affected many medical laboratory owners.
