Under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Abdulbaset Mohsen Ayial, and with the direct supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, Professor Dr. Watheq Ayoub Taher Al-Ramadhan, as well as the follow-up of the Educational Guidance and Counseling Unit, the Faculty of Sciences – Department of Analytical Sciences organized an awareness campaign titled “The Dangers of Smoking and Its Negative Effects on Students.” The event took place on Monday, January 20, 2025.

The campaign witnessed wide participation from professors and students of the department, aiming to shed light on the health and social harms of smoking and highlight its negative impacts on students’ academic progress.
