Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division

Overview of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division

The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division at Al-Manara University was established to serve as a fundamental support system for students throughout their academic and personal journeys. The division aims to provide the best services and adopt balanced and effective methods to assist students psychologically, academically, and socially. It helps them discover their abilities, potential, and skills, guiding them to utilize these resources effectively to achieve their goals in alignment with their capabilities.

Psychological counseling focuses on addressing psychological and behavioral challenges faced by individuals, including university students and staff (faculty members, employees, and workers). It seeks to restore psychological balance on both personal and group levels, whether educational or professional. This service extends to all individuals, regardless of gender, marital status (married, single, widowed, or divorced), and includes both small and large groups.

As for educational guidance, it emphasizes supporting individuals in the educational and academic fields. It helps students or individuals make informed decisions regarding their education and future careers. The goal of educational guidance is to ensure academic and social success by supporting students in learning new skills, motivating them, and guiding them toward selecting study or career paths that align with their abilities.

The division strives to create a positive university environment by offering individual and group counseling sessions, organizing workshops, and implementing awareness programs. These efforts aim to equip students with the tools to overcome academic and personal challenges. The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division is committed to fostering self-confidence, psychological balance, and social harmony to ensure the academic and professional success of students.
