Al-Manarah College ranks eleventh among private universities and colleges in Iraq within the Iraqi Ranking of Universities (IRU)
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the results of the 2023 Iraqi Ranking of Universities (IRU), aiming to develop the educational environment and measure institutional and programmatic performance indicators and the path of scientific research. The ranking revealed that Al-Manarah College of Medical Sciences in Maysan achieved eleventh, surpassing 47 private universities and colleges.
The evaluation included 95 government and private institutions based on institutional accreditation criteria (20%), global rankings (10%), the effectiveness of scientific research (30%), community service (5%), digital maturity (2%), faculty members (10%), awards (5%), students (5%), infrastructure (5%), diversity and international collaboration (5%), and health and occupational safety (3%).
