In the presence of the Dean of Al-Manara College of Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Faraj Muhammad Abdullah, A group of department heads, professors, and employees, The Sports Activities Division at the college held a sports carnival on the occasion of the conclusion of the Al-Manara Football Championship, which was organized over the previous days.

The final match was preceded by a match that brought together the team of college professors and employees with the team of the College of Law/University of Maysan. The festival witnessed the presentation of gymnastics performances by male and female players of the Iraqi national teams – the Future Youth Forum of the Directorate of Youth and Sports, Then the final match began between the Pharmacy Department team and the Anesthesia Department team. Which ended with the Pharmacy Department team being crowned after the match was decided by penalty kicks, thus becoming champions of the Al-Manara Football Championship for the year 2023-2024.
