On Wednesday, October 18, 2023, Al-Manara College of Medical Sciences organized a stand of solidarity and mourning for the souls of our Palestinian people who were martyred as a result of the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip and the bombing of the Baptist Hospital.

Yesterday, Tuesday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani directed employees and members of all state departments, facilities and formations, and students of universities and schools throughout Iraq, to perform a stand of solidarity and mourning today, Wednesday, at nine in the morning, in their workplaces, in loyalty and reverence to the innocent souls of our people. The brotherly Palestinian nation fell due to the brutal Zionist aggression against the Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Strip.

Yesterday, Tuesday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 500 people were killed and injured in the Zionist occupation’s bombing of Baptist Hospital.

May God have mercy on the martyrs and speedy recovery for the wounded.
