Through its approach and reliance on sobriety, excellence, and creativity, Al-Manara College of Medical Sciences distinguished itself in the program for evaluating procedures and standards for biosecurity and biosafety in laboratories, clinics, and stores of chemical and biological materials. Yesterday, A committee from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/Department of Research and Development, the National Oversight Authority, and the state agencies supervising this sensitive file related to Iraq’s homeland and national security visited.

The committee reviewed the policies, procedures, and evidence adopted in this sensitive file. The committee expressed its admiration for the excellence it witnessed. The committee held a detailed workshop for all colleges in Maysan Governorate in cooperation with Al-Manara College of Medical Sciences, in which it presented a procedure evaluation form. Then Al-Manara College presented its outstanding performance file in this aspect.
