The college held an awareness tour on the dangers of mines and unexploded ordnance On Wednesday, March 23, 2022, In cooperation with the Maysan Organization for Awareness of Mine Risks, And the Iraq National Demining Company in the Al-Tayeb area, coinciding with the Nowruz holidays and families visiting areas close to the dangerous areas. This is part of the annual plan prepared by the Al-Manara College of Medical Sciences to adopt a security awareness development program.

The tour included guiding and educating visitors to the Al-Tayeb area contaminated with mines and remnants of war not to approach these fields by distributing brochures and raising awareness of the dangers of these remnants.
